Welcome to ZPTools. By accessing or using our platform and any of its tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Service Description

ZPTools is an online tool collection platform that provides a variety of developer and productivity utilities, including but not limited to:

• JSON formatting, validation, and parsing tools.
• Timestamp conversion and timezone utilities.
• Encoding, decoding, image metadata, image compression, and screen recording tools.
• Other developer and productivity tools as added over time.

The specific tools available on the platform may change at any time. We may add, modify, or discontinue any tool without prior notice.

2. Account Registration

Some tools on ZPTools can be used without an account. For tools that require authentication, you must sign in with a valid account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Create non-consensual deepfake content of real individuals.
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing.
• Produce content involving minors in any inappropriate context.
• Impersonate others for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
• Process, parse, or convert data that you do not have the right to use.
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Circumvent technical limitations, security measures, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.

4. Content Ownership and Rights

Your Content: You retain ownership of all data, files, and content you input into or upload to our tools. By using our tools, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the service.

Tool Output: Results generated through our tools (including but not limited to formatted JSON, converted timestamps, image files, and recordings) are yours to use, subject to these Terms and applicable laws. You are solely responsible for how you use any output.

Our Platform: The ZPTools platform, including its design, code, AI models integration, and branding, is our intellectual property and protected by applicable laws.

5. Credits and Payment

Certain tools on the platform operate on a credits system. Each operation that consumes credits will be clearly indicated before execution. Credit pricing and consumption rates are displayed on the platform and may change with notice.

Purchased credits are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Credits may have an expiration period as specified at the time of purchase. Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination for Terms violations.

Many tools on ZPTools are provided free of charge and do not require credits. We reserve the right to introduce or change the pricing model for any tool.

6. Tool Accuracy and Disclaimer

Specifically, but without limitation:

• Data processing tools (such as JSON parser, timestamp converter) perform transformations based on standard algorithms. Edge cases, malformed input, or browser-specific behavior may produce unexpected results.
• Timezone and time-related tools rely on system and browser timezone databases, which may not reflect the most recent changes to timezone rules worldwide.

7. Third-Party Services and Availability

Some tools on ZPTools depend on third-party APIs and services to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services. If a third-party service experiences downtime or changes its API, the corresponding tool on ZPTools may be temporarily unavailable or produce different results.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any tool. The platform may experience downtime due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Data Processing Disclaimer

For client-side tools (such as JSON formatting and timestamp conversion), your data is processed entirely within your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. We have no access to, and bear no responsibility for, the content you process using these tools.

For authenticated server-side tools, your data may be transmitted to our servers and/or third-party services for processing. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

9. Content Moderation

For tools that involve content upload or generation, we reserve the right to review, refuse, or remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies without prior notice.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to the practices described therein.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the tools will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZPTools and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use any tool on the platform.
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected output from any tool.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Downtime, service interruptions, or third-party service failures.
• Any decisions or actions taken based on tool output.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZPTools and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though we may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
